Welcome

I work with people navigating a wide range of experiences, including health issues, sexuality, gender identity, anxiety, depression, and relationships. My practice is grounded in empathy, lived experience, and a deep respect for the diversity of human life.

No matter what your going through and feeling, I offer a warm, accepting space where we can explore and hold whatever’s coming up for you together.

About me

I’m curious about people, the things we feel and the connections we make, on our own, with others, in communities, and with our environments. How we get stuck sometimes, how we learn to survive and how we thrive and grow. I’m interested in the mind-body connection, processes of transformation, wild therapy and exploring queer family building.

I have experience with, and am passionate about working with GSRD (Gender sexuality and relationally diverse) folks and the LGBTIQA+ community. I believe in creating therapy spaces for queer and trans people where they are met in a place of understanding and support and don’t need to explain their gender or sexuality.

I’m a non-binary queer parent working in Hackney, East London.

My Approach

My training in Psychosynthesis Counselling, is an integrative model that draws from a wide range of psychological schools and therapeutic modalities. It allows me to tailor our work to your unique needs, experiences and ways of being.

At the heart of my practice is a relational focus. I pay close attention to your relational patterns and needs, and hold the therapeutic relationship between us as a vital part of the healing process. Together, we create a space where connection, trust, and insight can grow.

I embody the person-centred values of empathy, unconditional positive regard, and congruence; bringing warmth, authenticity, and deep respect of the process unfolding and the individuals I work with. I work affirmatively with gender, sexuality, and relationship diversity, offering a space where your identity is honoured and understood without need for explanation.

My Background

I grew up in the Midlands and studied in North Wales, before moving to London, where I spent over 15 years working in the homeless sector. My frontline work involved supporting people through complex challenges, and it deeply shaped my understanding of resilience, systemic barriers, and the importance of compassionate care.

I’m a cofounder and director of The Outside Project—an LGBTIQ+ community shelter, centre, and domestic abuse service. This work continues to inform my commitment to creating safe, affirming spaces for people who are often marginalised or misunderstood.

My journey into counselling is rooted in a long-standing dedication to social justice, community care, and the transformative power of human connection.

Qualifications & Experience

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling from The Psychosynthesis Trust, awarded by Middlesex University. I’m a registered and accredited member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), and work in line with their ethical framework to ensure safe, respectful, and effective practice. I am currently undertaking a qualification in Forest Therapy.

Over the years I’ve supported many clients across a wide range of issues, some of which are listed below. My experience includes volunteering as a counsellor at London Friend, one of the UK’s oldest LGBTQ+ charities.

Forest Therapy

My outdoor sessions merge forest therapy with counselling to discover deep nurturing relationships that wild spaces can offer and connect more deeply with yourself too. Rooted in the belief that disconnection from nature, each other and self, is at the core of many personal and societal challenges, sessions draw on sensory awareness and presence to reconnect. In wild spaces, time softens, judgments fade, and natural rhythms invite healing. For queer, trans+, gender non-conforming, and questioning individuals, these environments can offer refuge, a place where existence needs no justification or explanation. Nature offers us opportunities for greater clarity, emotional regulation, and a sense of belonging, facilitating and affirming our wild selves. A place where we are reminded we’re part of something larger, interwoven with cycles, systems, and the wild intelligence of the earth.
