Welcome
Counselling can be a powerful way to reconnect—with yourself, with others, and with the world around you. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, curious, stuck, or simply seeking space to reflect, I offer a calm, accepting environment where you can explore whatever’s coming up for you.
I work with people navigating a wide range of experiences, including health issues, sexuality, gender identity, anxiety, depression, and relationships. My practice is grounded in empathy, lived experience, and a deep respect for the diversity of human life.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need a place to begin.
About me
I bring a holistic approach to therapy, drawing on the mind-body connection, wild therapy, and the rich possibilities of queer family building. My work is especially informed by lived experience of neurodivergence and a long-term health condition, which deepens my understanding of difference, resilience, and care.
I have extensive experience supporting clients across the GSRD (gender, sexuality and relationship diversity) spectrum and am passionate about working with the LGBTIQA+ community. I believe in creating affirming spaces where queer and trans people are met with understanding and acceptance, and that therapy is a place where your identity is respected, your story is heard, and your healing is supported.
My Approach
My work is rooted in Psychosynthesis, an integrative model that draws from a wide range of psychological schools and therapeutic modalities. This allows me to tailor our work to your unique needs, experiences, and ways of being.
At the heart of my practice is a relational focus. I pay close attention to your relational patterns and needs, and I view the therapeutic relationship between us as a vital part of the healing process. Together, we create a space where connection, trust, and insight can grow.
I embody the person-centred values of empathy, unconditional positive regard, and congruence—bringing warmth, authenticity, and deep respect to our sessions. I also work affirmatively with gender, sexuality, and relationship diversity, offering a space where your identity is honoured and understood without the need for explanation.
My Background
I grew up in the Midlands and studied in North Wales before moving to London in 2005, where I spent over 15 years working in the homeless sector. My frontline work involved supporting people through complex challenges, and it deeply shaped my understanding of resilience, systemic barriers, and the importance of compassionate care.
I’m also a cofounder and director of The Outside Project—an LGBTIQ+ community shelter, centre, and domestic abuse service. This work continues to inform my commitment to creating safe, affirming spaces for people who are often marginalised or misunderstood.
My journey into counselling is rooted in a long-standing dedication to social justice, community care, and the transformative power of human connection.
Qualifications & Experience
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling from The Psychosynthesis Trust, awarded by Middlesex University. I am a registered and accredited member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), and I work in alignment with their ethical framework to ensure safe, respectful, and effective practice.
With over nine years of counselling experience, I’ve supported clients across a wide range of issues and identities. My background includes a year volunteering as a counsellor at London Friend, one of the UK’s oldest LGBTQ+ charities.
